This privacy policy applies to any of the apps developed by DIGITAL CHIMPANZEE LTD and offered as a free, freemium, or commercial service. The apps are provided “AS IS.”

Information Collection and Use

Apps may collect the following info during use:

  • Device IP address
  • Operating system and device type
  • Session duration and in-app activity
  • Approximate location (based on IP or device geolocation, if permitted)

TapSwap - Face Swap AI allows users to perform face swapping by uploading two images: a source face and a target face. These images are sent securely to our self-hosted server for processing. Here’s how we handle this data:

  • No biometric data is extracted or stored (no facial recognition, embeddings, or landmark mapping retained).
  • Source and target images are automatically deleted immediately after processing.
  • Only the result image (the face-swapped output) is retained on our server for up to 7 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
  • Images are not shared with any third parties and are stored on secure infrastructure (Germany).

We do not share face data or personal data with any third parties outside these service providers. No face data is used for advertising, tracking, or profiling.

Third Party Access
The Application may use third-party services to support functionality, analytics, or in-app purchases. These services may collect anonymized data subject to their own privacy policies:

Data Retention

All apps:

  • Device and usage data: retained as long as necessary to provide services or as required by law

TapSwap - Face Swap AI:

  • Source and target face images: deleted immediately after processing
  • Output (result) images: retained for 7 days

Children’s Privacy
Apps are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that such data has been submitted, it will be deleted promptly.

Security
We use industry-standard measures to safeguard data, including encrypted data transmission and secure storage environments.

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Continued use of the apps after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
